Helping Clients Meet Regulatory Requirements

A multinational company operating in a regulated sector instructed Quest to review its information security procedures in the light of new recommendations issued by the regulator.  Quest teams visited the company’s facilities in three countries, assessing the extent to which information security processes were in place and were being observed by staff.  The teams also conducted technical surveys to check for any listening or other technical surveillance devices in key areas.  The information gathered – including evidence showing that deal information was openly available – was then presented to the Board to help them understand how they could strengthen the information security culture within the organisation, and what needed to be done to meet the best practice as set out by the regulator.  The client was able to ensure that it operated in accordance with regulations, and remained ahead of the competition in keeping its information secure.
